Rate Refunds Update

On December 16, 2022, Morrisville Water & Light filed revised tariffs with the Vermont Public Utility Commission (PUC) for an increase in its retail electric rates of 11.25% which was implemented as a surcharge beginning with your March 1, 2023 bills.  After formal review, the PUC has determined the allowed increase to be 5.16%.  The amount billed in excess of the final rate has been refunded as a credit on your September bills.  This is shown on a separate line named Rate Refund.

For customers that are part of a solar net metering account, this refund will be calculated on a future date.
